History of the gold label. Back in the late 70s/early 80s, Victoria Secret was a catalog company before becoming a retail store. During that time, the gold labels were introduced as a luxury lingerie brand. They stopped producing the Gold Label in the early 90s, so most of these pieces are considered rare, and they are very high quality!
