Rare Berek New York Hand Knit by Marta D in 1992 Harvest Scene Cotton Cardigan Made in Uruguuay - large
Rare Berek New York harvest scene cotton cardigan hand knit by Marta D in 1992 in Uruguay. It is knitted in a 360 scene that transcends the front, sleeves, and back of the sweater. So many unique details including the 3 dimensional sheep running down the sleeve, and the apple trees, the people dancing and playing instruments, a woman harvesting apples, some people walking by the pond surrounded by pigs, and so much more. It is a conversation piece, and no two sweaters were knitted the same, so you will have a one of a kind piece. It does have a button hole that doesn't have a button, but there is no sign of a missing button, so it is not noticeable and definitely does not take away from this extraordinary piece!
